Unmanned Systems Canada / Systèmes Télécommandés Canada takes great pride in its annual Student UAS Competition.
For more than a decade, USC-STC has brought together young women and men from across Canada to compete safely in these competitions, which push the envelope of student engineering and teamwork as they are challenged with real-world scenarios.
This year, however, is very different due to COVID-19.
Because of these extraordinary circumstances, and out of an abundance of caution, USC-STC has determined it prudent to postpone our 12th annual competition – originally scheduled for May 1-3 in Southport, Manitoba – until 2021.
We thank the participants from all 15 teams, our sponsors, and the Competition Committee for everyone’s hard work to date.
We’ll update all involved as any further decisions are made with respect to our 2021 competition.
