To: All Members of Unmanned Systems Canada and Stakeholders in the Unmanned Industry in Canada.
In accordance with the By-Laws, as modified in 2019, USC-STC is starting the Election process for current openings on the USC-STC Board of Directors (BoD).
This election process gives members an opportunity to shape the leadership and current and future directions of USC-STC. Voting for your BoD is an important member benefit.
Board Members are elected to a term of three years, and are expected to work as volunteers to represent their Unmanned Industry segment, participate in regular Board meetings to direct the work of the Association and participate in one of the standing committees of USC-STC. The Board of Directors is a working Board and Directors should expect to spend 10 hours a month or more on Board matters.
Any Member in good standing may stand for election to the Board of Directors, and will require the support of three (3) other members to be nominated. The Nomination committee may also nominate individuals to the election slate, based on its assessment of the needs of USC-STC.
Directors currently serving on the board who complete their terms of office this year are also eligible and welcome to stand for re-election.
A candidate must be:
- A member of USC-STC in good standing at the time of Nomination
- A resident of Canada
- Reached 18 years of age or older
- Have agreed to stand for election
You must be a member in good standing to nominate or stand for election. You can join or renew a membership to USC-STC here. |
