UAS Training List Update: Thank you to Eric Edwards and Welcome Kate Kienapple
Here is latest list of UAS training service providers who have declared conformance to the Transport Canada knowledge requirements.
On behalf of our entire industry, this is an opportunity to thank Eric Edwards who has led the development of the original TP, the update which will be issued with the new regulations, and leadership of the Training Committee. His expertise and countless hours of dedicated effort have benefited our entire industry. In the interim, Paul Bennett has taken the reins, and will now be handing over to Kate Kienapple of Coastal Drone. Kate is well-known to our industry and will be counting on your support for the major tasks which lie ahead for the Training Committee
As many of you are aware, USC is developing an audited certification program for UAS trainers and operators. A core team is being assembled with the skills and capacity to undertake this significant task. The target is to have a framework ready to present and discuss at UnmannedCanada 2018. See you there!
