PWGSC – Procurement for Unmanned Aerial Surveillance and Inspection Services

Unmanned Systems Canada is pleased to advise that Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking to engage Industry in consultation on the development of a proposed procurement for unmanned aerial surveillance and inspection services. It is the intent of Canada to have a National Master Standing Offer and or a National Master Supply Arrangement in place where all Federal Department will have access to the list of qualified suppliers.

For details of the approach being undertaken, and to register as an interested supplier, please see:

https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tender-notice/PW-ZL-100-31829

Please note that there will be an industry consultation event taking place on the afternoon of 30 October in Toronto the day prior to UnmannedCanada 2017, at the same location as the conference. The Request for Information documentation in French and English is available here. Note, that the documents posted here are the original documents and may be amended by PWGSC. Companies may register on the buy and sell website to receive updates.

This is an excellent initiative by the federal procurement authorities. Widest dissemination is encouraged.
